WEEK 1 - THEME - OLYMPICS AT THE LEARNING LINQ

During this Olympic themed week campers will celebrate friendship, unity, and cooperation, as they learn to work in teams. The teams will create their own team name and banners, giving them a sense of pride and belonging, as well as learning about other countries and their flags. Throughout the week the elements of STEAM will be felt in all the areas. Campers will build a bobsled through an engineering challenge, and construct a ski jumper that can race down slopes. Physical challenges center around an obstacle challenge, cup or oreo stacking, and ice cube hockey. There will be robot races, science experiments, and a canvas that campers paint to take home. Culminating in building the fastest marble luge track.

WEEK 2 - THEME - SPRING HAS SPRUNG!

Time to celebrate Spring! This is a great time for our campers to learn, investigate, create, and design while building on their natural curiosity about the world around us. The STEAM approach will delight all, in the Science Lab they will make colored bouncy eggs, and grow crystal flowers. The little engineers will prove their ingenuity while participating in the nest challenge, or building a carrot carriage. In the art center we will create a rainbow day canvas. That’s just a few of our exciting projects for this wonderful time of the year!
